Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+: Dull see through maroon, dull rim; strong nose, oak still prominent, vanille, creamy, cooked cherry, almost Grenache-like in a way; strong plum on the palate, dark soft cherry, still some structure, meaty, mineral darker feel, sour and tart fruit; tasty.

nose is a melange of autumn flowers, ripe cherry, sou bois, dried leaves, eucalyptus and ever so slight candied rose petals. palate is sour cherry, dry wood, zingy acidity and grippy tannins. long finish, seems like this one is still a bit young and will benefit another 3 years sideways. very well balanced, elegant yet tannins still need to be resolved, however goes well now if you pair with food.
