Pronounced oak at opening. Medium weight. Transitioned to reveal some earthly mushroom elements and mint. After one hour, all distinguishing elements disappeared.

Garnet with a ruby edge. Dark fruit on the nose with some earthy minerals.Similar on the palette, ever-so thin but nice tannins and acidity. Balanced. Good value. Drink now.

Similar notes to my bottle on June 2015. Starts off a little closed, but the dark berry and plum show up more quickly than 2 years ago. Reaches its peak at about the 45-60 min mark, with a nice balance of fruit and earth (tobacco, mesquite). With steak, a clear iron note emerges. After 1.5 hours, the fruit really fades, so it may not be palatable to some. Ready to drink with a short decant. Also note that it has sediment.

Deep garnet in color with a purple hue. Nose of blackberries, blueberries, and leather. Tastes of blackberries, mint, and hints of tobacco and iron. Rich with resolved tannins. Ready to drink, but should drink well for 3+ years.

Nice dark fruit profile on the nose and palate. There is a tartness to the wine now that may give way over time. Medium plus body and still some tannins to resolve in my opinion. Glad I coravined this as my feeling is it should nap another 5 years at least. I hope the time will give it the space to gain in complexity.

Way less structure and complexity, almost flabby in comparison with charcoal and barely noticeable fruit. Smooth and easy drinking, but clearly an entry level Bordeaux whereas I recall a more interesting variety warranting a much higher score.

Very tight on open. Needs 1 full hour of air to express itself. After the one hour mark, this was very nice with dark berries, plum, graphite, and mesquite. Full bodied and balanced, this shows the terroir very well and has the potential for a higher score in a year or two. 90+

Amazing strength and complexity with wood, tobacco, dark fruit and vanilla notes. Flavors impressively develop throughout the powerful yet dry finish. Will improve for years.

This is likely at peak and it was ready to go with minimal air. Same tasting notes as 2017.

Very good, good QPR, drinking well now, not expecting aged complexity with collaring.

More body than my last note. Wine is developing nicely. Some good quantity of acidity makes it quite interesting.

Not as full bodied as the 2009. Medium body and short to medium finish. Taste of red and black berries. Missing some acidity. Drink now.
