This wine continues to improve with age. Now, it is ready to enjoy fully by the second day opened. On the darker side for Pinot Noir, closest to purple, enticingly aromatic black cherry, richly fruity in the mouth with added black plum, caressing, acidic enough to be refreshing, tannic enough not to be flabby, exceedingly delicious throughout, and finishes seamless and long.

At the $16 we paid, this wine deserves to be your go-to, every day Pinot Noir. Features the lovely and delicious black and red cherry fruit that Russian River does so well. Underneath that fruit topping is a bright and refreshing acidity and a drying tannin that make the wine well structured and excellent with a huge range of foods. Each day opened, the wine gets a little darker and deeper. On the firth day opened, the last two inches were terrific. Best way to drink this wine is to open the bottle 2 days in advance.

Deep garnet color, musty noise. I did not decant. No noticeable tannins with initial taste. Nothing remarkable. No outstanding qualities, nothing badly wrong.

Nose - cranberry Mouth - light bodied, nice light red cherry fruits with a touch of caramel, not at all overdone. Crisp. Serve slightly chilled. A good quaffer

This is a great wine value. Nice nose, rich mid palate. The finish has mild tannins and give it a nice bite. Not off putting in any way. sugar, cola, red fruit. remember the cherry coke in the 50's?

full bore raspberry with burnt sugar edge to the aromas and flavors. Lots of toast and spice in the midpalate, with a cinnamon and clove finish. Silky texture. $25.

My preference would be for stronger fruit profile as earthy aromatics and taste dominate. But this is a good quality Pinot Noir. Just not my style.
