Very nice Merlot, especially considering that it's from the grocery store. You never know how long it sat on the shelf, under the florescent lights, before you bring it home, but Chateau Ste. Michelle is a well known brand, and moves pretty quick. Solid berry notes, and surprisingly little heat considering its relative youth. I'll buy more of it.

Thick, dense and creamy Merlot with flavors of red cherries, raspberries, currant, tobacco, dark chocolate. Very delicious and approachable to the palate. Consistent with past vintages. Great value for an everyday wine.

Black cherry and vanilla oak. Fairly rich, with a moderate finish. Kind of middle of the road -- not real complex, and nothing really interesting about it, but it tastes good.

Killer QPR WA Merlot- I liked this one a lot and need to purchase more WA wines. Corkscrews 12/16 notes are right on.

A nose of dark sweet fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium bodied red, with black currants, cherry, some tobacco and chocolate.

Spicy nose, with hints of mint and anise. Nice berry taste, with a touch of mint/menthol coming through on the palate as well. Very pleasant.

Medium body merlot. Subtle nose with brown sugar carmel. Spicy raspberry, excellent balance of tannins and acid. RS: 89
