Not decanted, aerated ~1 hour & consumed over ~1 hour. Still drinking in line with my note from 12/25/2013...rich and tasty, not too cab-like, but a pretty good bottle in the house style.

Decanted ~1 hour, consumed over ~30 minutes. Still not my favorite of Josh's and still not showing particularly cab-like, this was better than previous bottles - certainly less harsh/porty, even with a relatively short decant. Age? Bottle variation? Something else? I have no idea, but I hope it portends well for our remaining bottle.

Decanted (with vigorous swishing) ~1 1/2 hours, consumed over 2 hours. Similar to the last note, although lots of air exposure did help it calm somewhat. Cooked cherry/berry fruit, kind of porty, with some harshness which seemed to be more acid than alcohol, although a bit of that was evident too. Again, not really recognizable as cab. I don't know if this will come together over time, and if so, I wouldn't expect it any time soon. Not Tolo's best, and I'm not sure what to do with a score here...very low 80's perhaps?

I did not like this bottle. It did not have any flavor. it was like drinking colored water. I've had other bottles from this maker and this was a big drop off. I was disappointed. I had one glass and dumped that bottle. It was not a good experience IMHO.
Decanted for ~2 hours, consumed over 1 hour. Concentrated bright cherry fruit, with slightly balsamic and woody notes. Relatively high acids, a little volatile, and just a bit cough syrupy tonight. Dense wine in the Tolo house style, but not especially cab-like. I'm giving my others time to calm down and see what happens.
