Interesting wine to try and compare/contrast to California pinot noirs. This flavor profile seemed more reserved compared to the California pinot. It had a sharp, almost unripened red fruit profile. Bitter cherries and tart raspberries. Light spice and tea flavor on the finish.

A nose of black cherry and some spice, medium ruby in color. A medium bodied Pinot, with black cherry, raspberry, earth and spice on finish, good not great. www.winelx.com

Medium to dark ruby. Nose of earth and black cherry. Silky mouthfeel. Spice, black cherry, tea on the palate. Medium to long finish. A really nice Bourgogne, worth the price. Affordable burgundy which is as enjoyable as any 50 dollar new world Pinot as I have had in a while.

Nose with hint of moist cellar along with blackberries. Also something green. Green asparagus perhaps? On the palate, sun ripe blackberries and a very light smokiness. Very good value for money.

Every once in a while I have a wine which just makes me grin. This was one of those wines. Beautiful medium to dark ruby color. Nose of violets and earth. Beautiful black cherry, and berries on the palate. Fairly viscous mouth feel. Medium to long finish with a hint of wood or stems towards the finish which adds interest but is not intrusive. This could go for a few more years without a problem. Certainly over delivers for the price.

Wonderful value here. The is typical dark like Gevrey-Chambertin so you have to like that kind of slightly bitter Cherries. Still the value cannot be argued.

Terrific Bourgogne level Burgundy. Great pedigree. Gorgeous translucent red hue, enticing Burgundian nose. A bit light on the palate at the moment, but finishes with length and elegance. A terrific wine for the price.

- Crimsom color - Very light, smooth, some french terroir(barnyard), best with food; port and rice tonight. Great potential and will try better Guillon wines. Good buy!

Has taken on some nice weight since 2012 bottle. Medium-balanced palate with some complexity and finishes with good length and elegnce.

Tasty stuff. Soft, round mouthfeel, almost sweet in texture, with bunches of ripe strawberry and raspberry. Soft and inviting. Great buy.
