Understated & Elegant. Gosh I love chardonnay like this. No heavy oak, just beautiful juice in a perfect state; soft, subtle, yet elegant. All to often chardonnay is tart, underripe & overoaked, Examples like this remind you what this grape is capable of. While I prefer Spanish grenache over French, the French don't play with chardonnay like Americans and Aussies. They know better. Served this chilled with a smoked spiral ham and couscous. Well matched. Made for a great meal. Just wish I had more.

The nose is a bit strange with notes of ginger, chalk, and graham cracker. The palate brought the wine back to earth--it is simple but also bright and precise.

Consumed over 45 minutes. Fresh, enjoyable basic chardonnay, with apple/citrus fruit, hints of floral notes, and just a little bitter/tartness towards the finish. Maybe a bit mild on the mid-palate, but easy to drink on a warm afternoon and pretty nicely balanced overall.

Some sweetness and tropical fruit on nose. Minerals, lemon, pineapple in front. Nice tart finish. I found it a bit oily with perhaps some secondary fermentation (?) that put me off. I wasn't wild about this but my wife liked it and she has a better palate than me. For me, it wasn't a typical clean and fresh Macon.

Tropical nose, canned pineapple, ripe red apple and macerated oranges. Brighter flavors on the palate...blood orange, lemon curd, vanilla and macerated pineapple on the palate. This is a wine for the moment.

PNP. Nose mostly green apple w hint of citrus. Swishing shows tart acid and minerality. Palate shows perfect harmony b/n fruit and structure. Great value.

Popped and poured. Color straw. Nose with mostly crisp apple and minerality. On palate this is super clean, smooth and saline. Finish is medium short. Exactly what I have been looking for- no oak and easy. Great with Halibut cheek and white beans. Definite everyday chard.

Afternoon buzz at the ABV (ABV wine bar on lexington): Not oaked, fresh, sharply cut but with a smooth finish. Elegant.

Very good. Flinty and crisp; zero Oak. Really nice acidity and minerals on the finish - very much my style. Excellent, particularly given the price.
