My last bottle of this, as often, the best. This wine is about when older means wiser and not necessarily tired. Light pale golden color, aromas of Limestone and lemon zest. Lively acidity, baked lemon rind with some yeast and minerals, medium body with some texture probably from the sur lié. Hard to believe it is 8 years old.

Three years since my last one and it has only gotten better. A little more viscous and gold in color. The bouquet is unchanged and the palate might have a little less fruit to show, but the development of the body and texture more than makes up for it. I love this stuff. 5+11+16+8= 90

Amazing stuff. This hasn't budged over the past year, drinking almost as it has since release: refreshing in the mouth with sandy minerality, luscious acidity, and light yellow citrus. I had this bottle open for 2 weeks in the fridge and the last glass seemed identical to the first. QPR champion. 5+10+17+9 = 91

I disagree with ctbob, this is in no danger or expiring. The wine seems to have entered the next phase of its life, where acids, still lively, are more in tune with the fruits, which have integrated fully since release. This has just entered its preferred window, where it should remain for the next 3-5 years quite confidently. Constantly becoming something else, this inexpensive Muscadet is a home run. I saw the 2012 the other day in my local, I think I should grab a few. 12,0% abv, recommended
PnP, consumed over 2 nights, both showing equally well; served non-blind.
Notes on 2nd day open. Color has deepened from a year ago to a light gold that is bright and shimmery. Quick legs. A light note of marzipan is now creeping into the sweet citrus and wet cement bouquet. Acidity is still as bold as ever and overall, the palate has barely budged over the past year. I don't know why people have given this such a short drinking window (CT2012-2015) but my personal window goes well beyond 2020. highly recommend. 5+10+16+9 = 90

Maybe I have a weakness for Muscadet but given that I drink very little white wine I do like this and here we have a very good example of what it should taste like. This is light, crisp, and while having that nice dry bite to it has a nice taste of fruit. I am sad that I only have one bottle left but glad that I had the 2011 and hope it is as good as this. I wonder why Muscadet is the poor relation of white wine? It is not copied here in the USA where the clones are all for Chardonnay. People are missing out when they do not sample the wines from the Loire Valley, of which this is the most westerly example.

OK, this bottle was significantly better than my last one. Nice, light, and fruity. The dryness and acidity was in balance and was enjoyed on a 95 degree day. The "Chewing on a Stone" impression I had from my last bottle was gone....go figure. Decent QPR at $12.

Unexpectedly rich, expressive nose, still bone dry, but already balanced acid with crunchy minerality. delicious, delicious - great with the oysters we had tonight. Immense qpr.

PnP. Definite winner here, more so considering the price, and to make it even better there's an upside yet to show itself. Lime-ade, sea spray, faint dough notes, pamplemousse, lemon zest; just heavenly on the nose. Light toward light+ body, with finely crafted attack and an obvious depth and beauty to the fruit. I need to go back and get 6 more straight away. Drink thru 2018
note: this is not a wow wine, but rather a very solid example of the grape and winegrowing region, and one that can be had at a very fair price. Oh, and one that goes so, so well with freshly shucked oysters
This wine, used in and with asparagus risotto, was stellar. Crisp, lemony and limey, dry, cleansing, it was full of flavor and solidly acidic. Excellent wine tonight.

Floral notes and pear on the nose, with hints of almond and spice. Rich and spicy on the palate, with almonds and pear, a little citrus, and some floral notes at the end.

intense, borderline painful minerality. great saline texture, with subtleties waiting to emerge. really interesting stuff, and should be better after it mellows with a few years of bottle age.

Dull light brass color. Nose of minerals. Salty, full mouthfeel. Stones, some bitterness, smooth, fairly simple tastes with a shortish finish, but very good and a really great value at under $10. Matched well with irish cheddar. Update bottle 2: Continues to please and a really excellent value. Paired well with caprese salad and sushi. Buy more!

This Muscadet is the best of the various low-priced Muscadets that Garagiste has offered in the last few years. Excellent price to value ratio, which is a major part of my 90 rating. As to tasting notes, "fingers" seemed to get it right.

Tasted at cellar temp and as it chilled. Very pale straw-lime color. Vibrant aroma that tickles the nose with citrus, honeysuckle, and big river rocks. Light bodied and very crisp with nothing astringent to screw up the balance. This just screams for a bucket of mussels. Great summer quaffer 4+11+16+9 = 90

Nice bottle. Nothing special but on a nice summer day this should be a $10 crowd pleaser. On the nose lemon/ lime, a touch of toastiness. The palate shows a nice lively acidity, crisp, with good minerality and balance. A nice lingering finish. Good expression of what a Muscadet should be.

Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 1 hour. Nose has citrus, lemon, light spring flowers, mineral. The palate is wonderfully well balanced, light, fresh, lemon, citrus, tangy, with a streak of minerality. Medium finish. This was a very good restaurant wine, great QPR.

Very pale, green tint. Nose is nice with grapefruit, citrus, a little pear, lots of minerality, some earthiness. The palate is light-medium bodied with citrus and minerals, fairly good acid. Had this with a 4 course seafood dinner at Sea Change, and it was a pleasant surprise.

Garagiste Selection
Color: Bright, clear, yellow with great legs!
Nose: Clean; medium intense with minerals and fruit; some tropical fruit notes and spicy nutmeg.
Body/flavor: Medium-full, wonderful mouth feel. Fresh fruit; very well-balanced with no loss of acidity.
Aftertaste: Short delicious finish.
Paired wonderfully with local artisan cheese and Serbian-style salami.
