  • Pale/medium garnet core, really quite light with a wide orange/mahogany rim.
Clean, medium + intense bouquet showing soft ripe red fruit, attractive floral notes and (after time in glass) a hint of game.
This wine retains medium/medium + acidity and very soft/silky tannins. It is medium bodied with medium + attractive ripe sweet cherry and strawberry fruit with gamey notes and sacoury red fruit on a medium +/long finish.
Excellent quality NZ Pinot, one of the best I have tasted, with very attractive, refined fruit flavours and good depth and balance. It is holding its years very well and will probably last for at least another 2 more.

  • Medium ruby core with medium brick red/garnet rim.
Medium + intense aromas of ripe raspberries and red and black cherry, with pronounced hints of forest floor, vanilla and game. Complex and nicely developed.
On the palate this has medium/medium + acidity, low/medium soft tannins and well concentrated and complex fruit, with red cherries, strawberries and strong hints of game and toasty oak. Very good length finish with game and savoury notes.
Very nice indeed, attractive and complex flavours and good depth and balance.
