This wine is delicious and at its peak !! Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, removed easily. Consumed over two days. This balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day and had softened just a little to an increased depth and integrated complexity on the second day. Light ruby color with no oxidation and medium clarity. Aromas of red cherry and cranberry. Flavors of bing cherry, pomegranate, and rhubarb with a hint of baking spice. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir that may have more years of life remaining, unfortunately I have no bottles of this vintage remaining in the cellar. A great fruit sources from the B. A. Thieriot Vineyard which is located near Occidental in the Sonoma Coast Appellation. Clones are Swan, Pommard, 114, 777, Calera and a proprietary clone. Aged 16 months in French oak barrels, 25% new. Great winemaking from Ted Lemmon produced a very balanced Pinot Noir.

This is in an amazing place right now. Fruit is very present; strawberries and black cherries, soil, mushroom, black tea, and a slight touchy of savory gaminess. The nose is all strawberry and a light touch of spring flowers.

Translucent ruby with rust hints. Nose of crushed red berry, hyacinth, stone, plum pits. Elements of both ripe cherry/strawberry fruit and austere stony elements on the palate with lush texture and lingering tannin. Crisp acidity. Longer finish of red raspberry and sweet cherry fruit cut with linear streaks of stone. Very good and very young. Accessible but years to go.

13.4% abv. Light Ruby, very aromatic. Cherries and raspberry, spice and stone with some emerging complexity. Light on its feet and energetic, but with excellent depth and length. Very nice and probably still on the ascent.

PnP. Medium ruby. Complex nose of blood orange and spice - lovely balance between fruit and more complexity. Velvety palate feel with no tannins to resolve. Drinking well - no reason to wait.

took about an hour to really open up in the glass. aromas of fresh berries, sap, pine needles and a background of wood spice. on the palate the fruit is lifted by good acidity with present, but elegant tannic structure. i think this will continue to improve for many years but with air it's enjoyable now.
