What a great Pommard. Superb nose with flowers, bramble and stems. Dark fruits (cassis and blackberry) with smoke. Focused and balanced, masculine yet a wine with finesse and elegance (iron fist in a velvet glove). High acidity. Palate is similar than the nose with again those dark fruits that give the impression not of ripeness but of terroir. A great village Pommard.
