We opened this 3.0L bottle to celebrate my daughter's first birthday with family and friends. I purchased it at Phelps over ten years ago. The color had lightened from the typical ruby-red of a young Le Mistral (of which I've had many!). Very soft tannins as you would expect. Had it with poached salmon, leg of lamb, asparagus and roasted new potatoes. Delicious.

Lively bright red with no signs of aging, surprisingly. Sweet red fruit combined with a little rubber funk.
