I found a straggler in the cellar, and I'm happy to report that while it's not a vibrant as it was on release, it's still drinking well and over-delivering its price-point. Remaining bottles should be consumed within the next 12-18 mos
consistent with prior bottles, this is showing splendidly right now. Poured a glass night #1, pretty good/consistent, but night #2 is when it really shined. A welcome touch of Cinsault funk heighted the interest. highly recommended, 13,0% abv
Fake cork notwithstanding (though it wasn't plastic, thankfully), this is such a lovely expression of terrior and the style. Clean, bright and highly enjoyable, this displays equal parts of minerals and strawberries, with just the slightest touch of watermelon rind, on the nose, as well as palate. Great on its own, even better with a Mediterranean salad. recommended, drink thru 2013
VIP's notes are spot on, I think. Lovely floral and mineral components round out the bright fruits. A consistently good wine that often shows structure beyond its release year. A consistent value for $15 rosé, recommended
The Triennes showed a beautiful bouquet of strawberry and young peach with minerals, almond skins and salty hard cheeses. On the palate, it was balanced and persistent, showing melon and a slight kiss of sweetness up front that turned to tart citrus through the mouthwatering finish.
Becoming one of my favorite Rose's. Crisp, tart, balanced, and an excellent pair with almost any dish. Peach jello, citrus, fresh green herbs, strawberry, and minerals. Enjoyed with a slight chill. If the pocketbook agrees...this should be a case buy every year.
Another vintage, another winner..... Like the '10 I've enjoyed many times, this has a stunning color of salmon and copper. Strawberry scents with a hint of perfume and fresh grass. Moderately acidic body, fresh lemon and grapefruit flavors. So good. Sante!
for $15 it's a rose that punches well above it's weight, beautiful salmon colour, aromas of fresh red summer fruit, tangerine and cantaloupe , similar palate with lively refreshing acidity on the medium + finish
Pale salmon color with pinkish hues; clean mineral note, subtle berry fruit, melon, watermelon, dried herbs nuance; delightful, very well made rose. Light spice aspect in the mouth with a medium body and almost anise finish. No brainer with cantaloupe and prosciutto.
