Splash decant ... This is in a truly beautiful place right now. Fresh and bright, with strawberries on the nose and palate. Ripe and smooth but not at all over-the-top. Well balanced, with good backbone and acid pop. Probably my favorite, now, of the Buoncristiani line. A unique and interesting red that deftly straddles the line between big and lush, and bright and dry.

Splash decant ... Deep purple on the pour, with a muted nose, probably because it was a little cool at open. Rich and creamy flavor profile, with black and blue fruits up front. A little bit more heat than I remember from our first bottle, but nothing too harsh, and I expect it would blow off with a bit more air or greater bottle age. A really interesting flavor profile.

Excellent blend of fruit and minerality. Aromas of brick and earth. Decanted for 1 hour. Flavors of blackberry, prunes, mushrooms. Great Old World/New World blend

Raspberry/Blackberry nose. Smooth velvety tannins give mouth good coating and almost syurp like. Red fruit then nice acidity. Decent finish. Ready to drink with suitable decant. Could gain some points over time with layers and components folding together more. Not much for earthiness of its old world brethren
