  • Sauternes liked golden color. Nose opens with apricot, honey a whiff of mango and pineapple. Golden liquid candy. Enters the mouth with layers of luxurious fruits that match the nose. Bit of an acidly bite as it goes down, but leaves a nice taste of tangy apricots and sweet pears that lasts at least a minute. Stay tuned for final rating tomorrow. Hoping a night oxygen will do this some good. Day 2, no change. Still a bit too much acid in the finish. Would be curious how this would taste in a future vintage.
