Bright fruit but green edges below. While this is certainly drinkable it is greener than my previous bottle. Going through a rough phase? Keep the last bottle untill 2023 at least and hope the greenness goes away. Mouth is in good balance but the aromatics are not in place

Medium ruby. Anise aromas. Medium weight, crisp black fruit, some tannin to resolve, espresso on the finish. Despite the wood at the end, this is much more restrained in its use of oak and much more elegant than the highly extracted Perrot-Minnot wines I recall from the mid to late 1990s.

High toned, but darker fruits, anise, and cooking spice. Just a touch of oak that isn't obtrusive. Medium plus body. Medium acid. Medium tanning that's very polished tannin, giving it a rich but elegant and balanced feel. Not a great deal of stuffing, but very nice. Finer than the Gevrey before it, but lacks the same verve. Short cellar to round out a bit more.

An overtly spicy, cool and airy nose of distinctly black pinot fruit and cassis aromas marry into rich, round and opulently textured middle weight flavors that possess a subtle hint of minerality on the detailed and punch finish the delivers excellent length. loved it!

Beautiful black pinot fruit and warm earth. Rich am round on the palate, relatively powerful flavors with nice integrated acidity. The finish is long with seductively mouth coating quality! If Champs Perdrix were in almost any other commune besides Vosne it would undoubtedly be a serious candidate for premier cru status. This excellent bottle shows the potential of the underlying terroir!
