Not promising when we first opened it: I love Provencal roses, but this 50% syrah blend was bitter and too alcoholic; one glass was more than enough. However, it evened out on the second night, showing considerably better balance. And on the third night it really hit its stride - to the extent that a ten dollar bottle of wine can be said to hit its stride.

Pale salmon color. Aroma of strawberries and cream. Strawberry, watermelon and orange flavor. Very crisp, tart finish. Medium weight. Very good and a steal at this price.

Delicious summer rose. Initial wiff of watermelon, green strawberries, mineral and citrus. Follows to the palate with puckering acids. Really hit my sweet spot for french rose, steely, good acids and hints of fruit.

Very light in color, just a shade of pink above a pure white wine really. I found the front end of this wine really quite enjoyable and refreshing. It may be a bit lean for some, as this is not overly fruity anywhere. Still the nose and initial kick has some nice strawberry and 80% fat free cream. The wine has some structure and tannin which just clips the lean profile and finish unfortunately short. That said its still a decent to nice wine for those looking for the leaner/mineral driven Rose.

Nice florals and strawberry on the nose. Lively on the palate, nicely balanced. A slight bit of tannic dryness of the finish. A little "rougher" mouthfeel than some of my favorites (Beylesse, Bedrock, Copain), but at the price it's a great "cellar saver" for this bottlings. It does mellow and integrate with time in the glass. I wouldn't be surprised to see this improve for Summer 2013 consumption.

Light colored for a Rose. Not very aromatic. Tastes light, smooth, crisp with watermellon, strawberry and sour apple. A decent daytime wine that doesn't explode in your mouth. Short finish. Nice for a $5 bottle.

Typical bieler rose....improves with air. Great w sushi
Second night this shows huge green apple and watermelon jolly rancher on the nose. Palate shows same but buoyed by bright acidity. Too easy to drink. No brainer for the patio

A lovely pale salmon pink despite its constituents, it is an appealing mix of red fruits and herbs on the nose, while the palate is very refreshing with well-balanced acidity keeping it crisp and lively.
