This wine has plenty of structure and life left in it, I'm just not sure though if it will improve much in the future (other than smooth out from the tannins settling). Clearly a cool-climate Pinot, even in a warmer year like 2007. A nice red-fruit oriented Pinot with a solid backbone. It has enough structure that it's a bit of a distraction, although it did start to smooth out a bit after a few hours. Will likely improve, but I'm not sure what will become of it. Needs more cellar time and/or a good decant as of this writing.
Holy crap this was delicious. Tart raspberries, bright red cherries, electric acidity, incredibly juicy mouthfeel, and a hint of secondary and tertiary characteristics sneaking out. One of the best Pinots I've ever had.
A citrus flair on the nose, blood oranges, backed by more traditional red cherry notes, brown spices. Layered, ripe, exquisite acidity, coming together very well, tart raspberry and red cherry flavors, limpid, acidic on the finish. An elegance here, could use some time, outstanding sonoma coast cool-climate style.
P&p. Really Fun nose of meat, melon, green leaf, citrus and charcoal. Very bright on the palate with a silky mouhtfeel., it's very round but restrained. Hints of oj, and mint. Balanced with refreshing acidity. Excellent!
