This is a great Reisling, nice and dry wine, with good tannins that makes it an excellent food wine. Good fruit flavours an long aftertaste. Very approachable Riesling from and excellent year. Enjoy!

Peter Jakob Kühn, Rheingau (Macis restaurant, Leipzig): Intense honeyed yellow fruit aroma, fresher than the Mittelheimer (St. Nikolaus 2010). Slender entry, strong acidity and almost slatey minerality. Juvenile and sulky on the palate at this stage of development. Short finish. Distinctly pricey at 31,50€ /75cl. 88P(?)

VdP Rheingau Wine Presentation (Kloster Eberbach): Very closed, very spicy, fermented on the lees, RS less than 1 gram, very individual style, impressive. Bottled under cork - they have now been able to source one that is certifiied biodynamic.
