First bottle from this vineyard. Color was dark, clear. Nose was muted on opening but bloomed on decant...dried herbs, cedar, tobacco and strawberry. Nice Zinfandel character, a bit spicy, cigar box, more dried herbs, raspberry and ripe plum. Very nice.

Dark purple with a menthol alcohol spray nose. A lot of pepper, spice and black cherry to taste. Long finish in the lower palate / chin. It held up well and probably better than anything else I have against crushed hot red pepper flakes!

From a bottle signed by LT and poured to break H’s wine fast. Beautiful, pure bouquet. Plums, apricots and blackberries wrapped in Asian spices. The complete package. Lusty fruit-driven finish. Drinking beautifully right now. (= Worth Seeking Out)

Lovely, bright and peppery the first night. Much less so night two. Don't over decant. But quite nice when popped and poured, up to a few hours of air.

Fairly powerful with nice structure and balance; firm tannins that open after 30 minutes; dark red fruit with nice depth; slight spice; moderate finish

Delicious -- but most importantly on this V-Day it was loved by the valentine herself. Dark purple with an amazing necklace. Dark pit fruits with that crazy Turley apricot finish. Very spicy and begs for sip after sip. Medium bodied; tannins resolved. I believe this is from one of winemaker Tegan's vineyards that is head pruned and dry farmed. Drink now. (=Worth seeking out)

more red berry fruit flavor than most Zin esp Turley, Not too tannic , silky and cocoa hints. Especially finessed for 1896 root stock. Paired with vegan cassoulet.

VERY Unique!! This is like a late harvest Zin. Smooth, thick, touch sweet, peppery notes on the back end. This will be a polarizing wine where some will love and others will say this is what I hate about CA wines.

Enjoyable, young Turley. Fruit forward, medium body, not really as intense as others I've had from them. Cranberry, raspberry nose. Anise, raspberry, a little heat, some oak, very balanced tannins. In summary, smooth, easy drinking, relatively sweeter wine with a little spice pop.

Really good berry flavors. High alcohol, but not hot.

Zinberry nose and fruit with a very spicy, peppery finish that almost overpowers the wine. Demands attention.

Excellent zin and IMHO at peak maturity. I am sure it can go longer but the zin was nicely balanced with great fruit and good finish.

Pepper and tannic upfront with a sweet finish. Not my favorite 2010 turley.

Not as rich as some of the other Turleys but certainly has the turley character. Prefer some of the others but this is very solid.
