Perfect right now. Mild, creamy but not buttery. Short legs but perfect for butter/cream based pasta dishes. I did not like it the first time I tried it a few years ago but it is as good as it gets for an inexpensive pinot Grigio right now.
Not a huge fan of the varietal, especially bland Italian versions, but this is really good. Pale straw yellow color. Light citrus scents with elder blossom notes. Crisp, floral, stone fruit flavors with a perfect balance of fruit, sugar, and acidity. A tad heavy on the oak but it does add an interesting yeastiness to an already good wine. Well made.
