Not sure when/where I got it, or how much I paid. Probably not a lot. I know that keeping it upright in a carton in the living room for several years could not have been good for it, or maybe it was! Cork was fine, no sign of bricking, wasn't cooked at all. Just a middling, pleasant wine, still some fruit (cherries?) left in it, with enough acidity and tannins to make it interesting, even without food. A bit of air improved it. No regrets for having opened it, and definitely not going down the drain. Should be good with our red-sauce-based dinner.

Okay. Drinkable, but not worth buying. Need time to open, but still has a woody finish after more than an hour. Tannins are soft. Medium finish. Some fruit. Definitely needs to be drunk with food.

For the money, this is an excellent value. Very sound cork. Very dark color. Sweet dark fruit in a firm but not overpowering structure. Quite fine, not at all rustic.

This is a serious Dolcetto with impressive weight and texture for the varietal. It has plenty of stuffing to age and improve. Very good right now though. I would buy this again.

Took time to really open up. Floral, minty aromas hints of cut grass.
Somewhat dry on the palate good structure nice flavour.

Very primary, lots of fruit and surprisingly, not as much acidity as I was expecting. Decent Dolcetto but not for the price.

Super dolcetto! Purple and dark, not to my style. Expensive at $25.
