Didn't realize when purchasing (17 Jan 16) that it was a 2011 vintage.
The wine was definitely flat and muted through the middle and had a very sharp strange flavor in the finish. A bad aftertaste that might have been cork taint. I didn't pick up a strong corked aroma but the odd taste might have been a bit of corking.
I think if i was a couple years younger this might have been a pretty nice wine, but in 2016 I could definitely tell it was well past its prime.
Due to the unintended age of the wine I'm not giving a numerical score as it would be an unfair assessment.

Cabbage, toast, butterscotch. Salty, oaky palate, not much fruit, plenty of oak but little else. Decent finish but it could have done with more fruit and acidity.

Lite reduktiv i doften, typ brända tändstickor. Vädrades ur efter en stund. Nötter, mandel, blodgrape och gula äpplen. Knappt medelfyllig, måttliga syror och en liten beska i den inte alltför långa eftersmaken.

Pale in color with a subdued nose of citrus and floral notes. Medium-to-full-bodied, offering pleasant flavors of apple, pear and vanilla with a mild acidity. A bit oaky on the dry finish, but still enjoyable and a nice value at $7.99. 50+5+10+14+7=86

color: light yellow; nose: nada; taste: light-to-medium-bodied mouth feel, medium-length finish tasting of lightly-toasted oak and butterscotch; overall: qualifies for service as a small-bottle economy-class airplane wine -- i.e. not unpleasant as a casual pairing with hors d'oeuvres, but without presence or personality, and better alternatives exist at the price point ($13/bottle)

Why so many haters? Is it just because these folks make oh about 10 million gallons a year of this "steady" "reliable" manufactured stuff and it grates against your existential aurora in a manner that says "not possible, not possible"?
Get over it. Move on. Don't give it anymore thought. Be peaceful in your passage.
This stuff is REFERENCE, middle of the road (perfectly middle) American style Chardonnay. Forgetabout the price! If you let the incredibly looooow price start to sway you you will never be able to come up for air. Just pretend its a lot more expensive than it actually was!! That way you won't buy too much of the stuff and leave some for the rest of us.....
If you cut your teeth on Macon and Minor White Burgundies, then you will find this wine one to enjoy over desert, but enjoy it you will. Gross sort of, but true.
88++

Citrus, Butter and Sprite on the nose, Citrus and orchard fruits with plenty of buttery oak on the palate. Good acidity. Nice everyday chard for the $. Wife liked it as it was not too sweet. If you don't like oaky chards you may want to pass. Will get more for the warmer weather at this price.

Light straw color. Some faint legs. Nice body. Some tingle in the nose, none in mouth. Need to let it breathe a bit and see how that does. Finished the first half-glass. One thing that sticks is the lack of interest; maybe lack of complexity. Might need some aging? Lowering my rating by a couple of points to 83.

Used mainly to make a potato and pea soup. Drank the rest and it was pretty tasty for a $7 bottle. It had a nice subtle oak to it and plenty of crisp citrus.

Oak overwhelms this one. There's some underlying green apple and lemon trying to get out. Balanced acidity.

Subtle nose of toast. Full bodied, crisp low-medium acid. Red apple, butter, toast. Very short, drying finish.

Great qpr. Pear and vanilla smell. Oak is not at all overwhelming. Great acidity and crispness that helps it go really well with food.

Oaky. Buttery. Pear and citrus fruit dance on the nose and mouth. Soft mouthfeel yet still balanced enough to pair with a nice fish or salad.
Great everyday wine.
