Nose was tight so I gave it a good decant. After a while aromas of plum glaze, baker’s chocolate and granite rock came out. Full-bodied on the palate, but that classic 2010 acid keeps the whole thing together. Velvety tannins combine with bright red and black plum fruit, incense sticks, lavender, cinnamon… just delicious. With time, the raspberry and vanilla cola comes out. Complex and plush, with crushed rock and iron notes. The alcohol is evident, but not overwhelming. This could be laid down for a few years, or give it a good decant, which is also helpful for the significant sediment in this wine. Awesome value at $14.

Drank beautifully when opened. The next day it was toast.
So drink it up right away.

In years past these bottles had a reductive quality. That is mostly gone. Some spice and red fruit came through. Ok drinking.

Nice Rhone. Lots of fruit, a little Syrah funk (rubber, meat), some floral, spice, oak. Nice finish, well balanced.

Nice Rhone that is drinking well now. Nice match to grilled lamb chops.

Solid Rhone and good value for the money. Better after an hour of air.

Overwhelming taste of bandaid. Brett made this wine almost undrinkable.
2 of 3 bottles flawed and undrinkable!

Full bodied, juicy sweet berries. A little too juicy for my palate, but others enjoyed this.

Full-bodied red that started strong and somewhat fruity, but finished smooth with little lingering aftertaste. Was enjoyed by all.
