Followed for about 6 hours open. Chewy and tannic for the first hour or so and then it transformed into a gorgeous replication of Medoc beauty and elegance with a floral perfume streak and generous depth to the palate. When these tannins fully integrate and mellow over time, oh boy will this be good. If you want to drink now, give it a vigorous aeration and a nice rare steak and enjoy. Otherwise, I would wait a few more years on it. 5+13+18+8= 94

Decanted for two hours. Mid-weight, earthy and just a touch too acidic. Tannins are there but the acidity reins supreme. Somewhat disappointed since I was expecting more in view of previous CT and professional reviews. Update 07/07/2018 - Needs a two hour decant to take the edges off. However, the lingering acidity on the finish is still off-putting to my palate.

Wonderful notes of herb, cassis and chocolate on the nose. Nicely balanced with well structured tannins. Flavors of herb (lavender), chocolate, dark fruit. Deep Purple in color with a very long finish.

Excellent Bordeaux like wine. Getting a little on the old side of this date, but still very nice smooth tanning.
