Juicy and smooth with blueberry, pepper and floral notes. Eminently drinkable with no flaws, though I imagine this is a little too easy for some. Doesn't strike me as a long lived wine but enjoyable now and over the next couple of years.

Tasted with 2010 Frederick. Decanted both for 2 hours and tried. Similar nose and purple color with nice legs. Katherine had opened up more but was understandable more singular (90% Cab Franc) than Frederick. After 4 hours (3 minimum), Frederick began showing layered depth on nose and palette from being a nice blend. Both better with steaks and held up 2nd day. All things considered, we both preferred Frederick over Katherine.

A gift and P&P. Fully mature and ready to go - some Bordeaux characteristics but certainly shines as WA. Solid. Drink over the next 3 years.

A good CF, but without any particular appeal and high, unitegrated alcohol. Poor QPR. 87-88

Super soft can franc. Well balanced. Paired well with semi spicy buffalo.

Exploring the Walla Walla Valley; 5/24/2013-5/27/2013 (Walla Walla, WA): Inky purple in color. Slightly spicy nose also features dark cherry. Mix of raspberries, cherries, and black pepper on the palate. Long finish with hints of green pepper.
