Really like this wine. It has a lot going on from all of the blends that are put together. This is really an out of the box kind of wine but very different than just about everything we have ever had. The Semillon is up front first followed closely by Gewurztraminer with Sauvignon Blanc tones throughout with a Chardonnay finish. Very interesting and worth a try if you are looking for something a little different.
Winorama Canadiana! (Niagara on the Lake): Funny because all of the terms I came up with when trying this wine don't sound so complimentary and yet it was a very interesting and nice wine. I get cough syrup on the nose and also again on the palette (right at the en). Before there's lemon cleaner and maybe some mild oak, some thyme, and just a touch of acidity. Different wine (I don't remember all of the varietals, but there were some from Bordeaux and Rhone and maybe even Germany/Austria).
on the nose you can smell the semilon and the oak in a positive way with gewurztraminer floral notes in the background very pretty and very unexpected, a rich wine but balanced but great canadian acidity
