Had this wine again last night out to diner at Mario's for David's birthday. We loved it again. Very fruity and jammy. Rich and full and smooth and silky. Very good. I had 2 glasses with Filet Mignon. Did not know the vintage.

Given the price this is a fantastic bargain. If you're into the zinfandel fruit bomb style, this is a good everyday wine to have on hand. The French oak is very prominent as is blackberry.

Very nice for the price. I am often not impressed with Zinfandel. With this wine, the Syrah adds spice, the Cabernet gives character, and the Petite Syrah deepens and darkens the color and bouquet.

Extremely jammy. Ran through an aerator initially and as the night went on it actually became worse. I was initially intrigued by a blend featuring zinfandel and I like Bogle's Old Vine Zin. However, I was very disappointed with this blend. Lots of tannin's and unbalanced.

Outstanding! Beautiful marriage of fruit. Nose is subtle, blackberry , raspberry and pepper notes. Spicules of a zin, depth of a cab, brightness of a petite Syrah. Long, dry finish. Very very good, especially given the $11.00 price tag.

Nice weeknight drinker. Nothing special .. I found it a little lite bodied based on the grapes making up the blend but overall still enjoyable and a good qpr for the price .. 9.99.

Bogle continues to make good, reliable value wine. This was a little sweeter than other offerings I have had, with candied cherry and licorice. Could use some grip or balancing elements, but a solid value at $12.

Typically a big fan of Bogle wines. These wines usually always taste good, and review well. With this one I am not a believer. My reasoning is the "oak monster" Despite some serious, concentrated and intense fruit flavors, the oak turns everything bland. Some people will really love this wine, and possibly with several years of bottle age, I might also. I can't pick out the quality and characteristics of the fruit. I love the deep dark color, and the pure fruit that peeks out past the wood on the nose. The palate is as rich, fruity, and as well balanced as any wine in this price point. Close to full bodied. Aside from the oak, great fruity finish with all the black fruits, some enhancing flavors like leather, cola, and vanilla. Not my style, but still a commendable wine.

Deep, dark red wine. Pleasant aroma; bold like you would expect from a Zinfandel, but soft. Juicy. Great wine for the money.

Surprisingly easy drinking, palatable, not too sweet; brown sugar notes on the nose with a decent, well rounded jam. A good drink for $8.

this is just delicious and damn the analytical palate
jammy, oaky, lip-smacking goodness, with a good bit of balancing acid, rather nice texture, and more depth than most things at this price
