The nose was filled with floral accents; the burgundy was great on the palate. There was lots of citrus with nice acidity with a hint of saline. The mouthfeel was at the edge of lush. A very nice wine for the price.
Made of Chardonnay grapes from Saint Romain, Auxey-Duresses, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. Elevated on 350 l wood barrels. Inviting "naked" Chardonnay aromas, little oak notes, little lactic, creaminess. In the pallet exciting tension, minerality and pepper. Not a lot of acidity but enough balance. Signature Boillot Chardonnay.
