Much better than earlier bottles. It's the age. Please, please let these bottles spend time sleeping. Much better.
Much better integrated. Still not an outstanding wine, but a delightful accompaniment to our meal. Well balanced -- tannins, fruit, with a lingering finish. Good wine.

I decanted, had some first night, put rest back in the bottle and gassed it. First day was ok and the 85 score. A little off-putting by itself, it worked with a pasta dish. On the second day, this has opened up and blended into a delicious, great-QPR wine. 90 on the second. Nothing ethereal here, but a wonderfully drinking wine. Certainly decant for a couple of hours before drinking at this stage. Other's notes suggest drink up by 2015. I think this have a longer life. Plenty of fruit, and I think enough tannins to age for a few more years at least.

Pop and pour. Lots of cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruit. Fruit driven and simple with a slight herbal note. A bit rustic in the texture and probably could have used some decanting. On the second day this rounded out a bit, but this remained a simple, fruity, slightly anonymous Grenache. Easy to drink, easy on the budget, but not much depth.

Good QPR. Nice bouquet, no detectable oak, not complex, but very nice body and balance. Great with steak. Better the second day. Incredibly full bodied and ripe without being over ripe. Complex. 93pts.

I really enjoyed this French grenache. Sometimes Grenache can be too jammy, but this wine was really nice. It married the fruit a light acid backbone that really pleased. Nice berry notes on the nose with a full mouth fkavor that doesn'toverwhelm. Good QPR.

This wine received gold medal in Paris 2012 and excellent reviews here. However, I found it pleasant, but not exceptional. For me it represents French grenache - and a teaching point for me; I think this is only the second French grenache I tried. From the glass flavor is not that appealing; you have to have a sip to appreciate the bouquet. This is fruity wine, with some strawberries, cherries and raspberries, peppery finish. Pepper and fruit stays forever, and I understand people who found this wine seductive - but it did not do that trick for me. It has good acidity and no noticeable tannins.

Oodling cassis, cherry cola, saw dust, charcoal, and feminine essence (keeping this PG). The fruity and exacting palate is gushing and flowing. Just long and savory. Not for the cellar - for the glass. Drink now - 2016.

Strawberry and cherry fruit with streaks of peppery spice complicating the palate. Needed a little bit of air to get going, but this was an enjoyable wine and decent value. The moderate tannins and balanced fruit suggest this might age for a few years.

The nose is a bit tight, but the palate is filled with cherry, raspberry, strawberry compote and white pepper. A bit on the fruity side, but this has admirable intensity and length. Sappy, fleshy and slightly grippy. This could improve with short term cellaring.

This is interesting. Strawberries, dry blackberry and sour cherry compote, with minerality, roast coffee, dark chocolate, and barnyard notes on the nose and palate. Nice balance, substantive and agreeable finish. For the region, it's a bit fruit forward, but on the whole it's far more Old World than New. Quite nice! I have not ever had anything from Côtes Catalanes that disappointed.

Vins 100% grenache noir, vieilles vignes, très équilibré, tannins et acidité en harmonie, fruits rouges. Beaux rapport prix/qualité. Heureusement, il m'en reste une deuxième bouteille.

Color: Glossy crimson/cardinal Aroma: Raspberry preserves, kirsche Taste: Plush, round and succulent. Juicy and jammy raspberry, cherry and some black currant. Medium bodied and medium/low tannins. Massively enjoyable. I love this style of wine. Perhaps the only thing better than the taste is the price ($12.99) This is a steal. ($12.99 at Binny's Beverage Depot)

Better than previous bottles. (Likely my palate!) This one was full, blended, just a fine Languedoc

Blackberry, cherries, prunes, spicyness, but very smooth. Still needed to open up a little. Enjoyed it with some cheese.
