PnP w/30 min decant, drank over 2 days. WOW. This wine is drinking beautifully and is one of the best Zin's I've ever had. Best on day 2. Clear, deep dark purple w/long stained legs. Perfect balance and integration, full body, no rough edges, intense proper Zin flavors, rich, smooth, long finish. Absolutely nothing off, ideal drinking window. Wish I had more. $52

Lust or love, I do not know which. This is what a Zinfandel is supposed to be like, dark color, full rich taste from tip of tongue to finish. Leaves your mouth rewarded and satisfied.

Nose: Hints of caramel Color: Dark violet Body: Full-bodied (very) Acids: Very high Tannins: High Balance: Well balanced with acids dominating tannins. Balance between sugar and the very high alcohol content also satisfying. Finish: Long & complex with acids dominating. Overall: A heavy but enjoyable wine. I like the mix between a full-bodied high alcohol wine and the strong fresh acids with surprisingly soft tannins. Will buy again despite its premium price. Must be enjoyed in small quantities and preferably as the last wine of the evening.

WORST BUY! A insane 16.9% alcohol! You should expect a Zinfandel Port from this one. Cinnamon jelly rubbed on dark chocolate. Ultra big wine! Teeth blackening, palate coating wine. I could see using this to cook with for a rich sauce, but it would cost you sixty bucks!

16.9%, served at 67 degrees.
Tannins are smooth, ready to drink. Big Cali Zin. There was no "heat" from the 16.9%.
