Light gold, touch of green. Nose still quite reticent. Great concentration, big and long. Citrus, more lemon and grapefruit than lime. Some tropical fruits too, maybe pineapple. Bit of chalky texture. Very nice wine, still quite fresh, plenty of life ahead.

Happy Riesling Weekend (Dado Restaurant Düsseldorf): Blind tasted, more delicate than BW Ungeheuer 2010, citrus dominated, powerful, getting better with time, later passionfruit and pineapple in the long finish, needs a few more years of cellaring

Langton's Burklin Wolf tasting (26 Waterloo Street, Surry Hills, Sydney): Medium intensity lemon coloured wine with aromas of yoghurt, smoked bacon, peach and pineapple, slight mineral notes. In the mouth the wine has some tropical fruit, mineral notes and finishes spicy (white pepper) and slightly warm. Good

A bit disappointed, missing salinity and precision, a bit short in the finish. 91
