Slightly disappointed. Have enjoyed Ghost Pines Cabernet for years, but this was very jammy and a bit sweet for a Zin. Did not hold up to a steak. This is a Tuesday night wine, not a Saturday night wine.

I was surprised with this wine, given it's WS rating of 95. I've had better Zins for less money. The nose was odd... my wife thought it was Strawberry Starburst and that was pretty close! Decent fruit and a nice finish. After sitting in the decanter for an hour or so, it got a little better. Good, but it didn't knock my socks off!

Great red berries, some plum and spice undertones. Nice medium-full body. Very smooth with a lingering finish. Great wine.

Light fruit, a little bitterness, good for a dinner wine

Good dark berry front but finishes with too much spice for a Zinfandel. Smooth oak tannins on finish that lingers
