This was brought as a gift for our hosted lunch. Not a bad choice, but not overwhelming on its own. A bit flat and bitter-seeming. Characteristic of Cab taste profile, but also feeling very much of Mendocino, having the New World sense about it. So, not a wine to run from, but probably not one to spend a lot of time seeking out either. This would pair well with food, but was not ideal with what we had for lunch. It would be better with meat.
