Was given to us as a gift. Was rated 90 points by Robert Parker from wine advocate. Considering it was past its recommended drink date we decanted about 30 minutes before drinking with dinner. It was good but not the greatest Cab I’ve had.

some fruit in the nose, faintly inviting; taste is earthy, smooth, some minerality; traces of plumz, red cherries, lemons, pears; faintly Old World, rather than the New; the label talks about 'mid-term' cellaring (they did 6 months in French oak), longer term might be called for; right on, Colchagua wines like this show (lots of) potential

Dark ruby color. The nose is muted showing black currant, soil, and leather. The palate is more expressive with cherry, blackberry, licorice, plum, red raspberry, damp soil, graphite, and ink. It is somewhat oaky but with enough structure to hold together reasonably well. An enjoyable wine with an excellent QPR.

Nice cassis nose. Palate of raspberries with mild tannins. Very approachable now but will last a few years. Medium weight Cab that can be an everyday drink.

Inky purple. Oaky aromas of black cherries, cassis, plums, meat, and snippets of vanilla, chocolate, walnuts, and spices. Exhibits a full body, succulent red and black fruit, cinnamon spice, and picks up cocoa powder on the finish. New World in style, this is rich, dense, structured, and balanced. Excellent value.

Deep purple red like cut velvet with aromas of cassis, plumb, chocolate, licorice, tea and raisins. Heavy bodied, bright acidity, smooth with a bit of heat. Medium finish. Loads of flavor, solid structure.
Initial impressions where that of an average South American cab, but we re-corked and opened again after 6 hours and it was fabulous. Much bigger more complex flavors. For the price, it's great. I'll be adding more to the cellar.

Needs some time to open up. Once it does, this is killer for $6. Coffee, dark chocolate, cherry, smokey oak, red plum. Great juice for the price. I should get more. A-

Good everyday drinking wine that won't break the bank. Nice bouquet and beautiful deep red color. We let it breathe once we poured it in the glass and the taste really opened up. Very smooth wine.

Too young and tightly wound to have much stand out. It was just $10-11.
Deep, dark core of red with purple. Staining tears. Nose of meat, rose, pepper. Med body, med acid, pretty mouth-drying, seems youth and a touch under ripe, some oak. Rose, white pepper, green bell, coffee. Med finish.

This wine got some strong reviews, but I did not particularly like it. I found the oak flavors and tannins to be harsh, overpowering the fruit. I am tempted to buy a few bottles to cellar for 5 or 6 years just out of curiosity. At least the price is right.

Yet another overrated budget wine from WA. Like several recent 90+ rated wines, this one is not bad. However, you expect much more with that kind of score. For $8, this is a good QPR. It had the trademark mintiness of Chilean cabs, mixed berries, and a medium body. However, there was a slight acidic or alcoholic note on the back of my palate. It is more interesting than most of the wines in its price range, but it wont necessarily have you awaiting your next sip. It did seem to please all the guests as the first wine of the night. That being said, I wont buy it again.
