Dark and dense. Pronounced tar on nose as well as oak. Elegant but a bit too intense, rough at the moment. With time rubbery aromas developped. Not to everybody's liking, quite peculiar wine. (B+)

Funky nose. Dark purple garnet color. Medium body. Grippy tannins with a somewhat bitter finish. Maybe it's too young, but i am thinking it won't get any better.

Poured into decanter before dinner. We decided just to have a beer and forget the wine. Forgot about the wine until the next night when we wanted a bottle to drink and decided to give it a try before tossing it. Beautiful. Wonderfully balanced with, violet, dark fruits, silky tannins, and just the right amount of acidity. Decidedly much better than the PnP we have had with this. Considering this, i would say it has some great life to it. Decant 18-24 hours.

Bdx blend plus syrah dark colour wild nose! some funkiness, smoky - smells like a particularly natural Cornas t - coffee, lots of grip, meaty needs time one to have with something powerful
