Wanted to try this right away to see if I should pick up more before it's gone. Tight right now, but good with some air. It will be really good in a few years. Berries, gamey meat, and toasty oak. Can't wait until it comes together. 90 right now + 2-3 point with cellaring.

Clearly a very young wine, with puple/violet highlights setting off the darker color of the wine. Uncommonly perfumed, feminine nose, very suave and sophisticated and elegant for a syrah. Lovely deep blueberry scent. Very complex. And the palate is a match, just about. Very soft but with a solid fruit backbone, this is crushed berry fruit all the way, just plain delicious drinking all by itself. Nice long, if gentle, finish. This is quite a successful effort, and a true steal at the modest ($13 Costco) price. To buy by the case if you can. 4-13-15-8: 90/100.

V. nice little wine: structure, balance, good grip, pleasing flavors. Solid buy at $15. Syrah? okay. Ready.

Better than my last bottle, but still not a great wine, but good. Dark purple in color, varietal flavors.

A little rough on the PnP and need to Vinturi it. Very full bodied. Good wine.

For $20, get what you pay for, maybe! Definitely varietal, but certainly not outstanding.
