Raspberry, floral, vanilla and earth notes on the nose. Medium bodied (13.2% ABV) and accessible nearly from opening and improving after about an hour. Cool and rounded red raspberry upfront, blending in softer notes of red cherry behind as it picks up some additional mid-body depth. Brighter notes of red berry and strawberry along with nicely tart acidity come in on the backside before the wine moves into the finish with integrating tannins, acidity, vanilla, mineral notes and good length. This wine is coming together extremely well and in another 6-12 months as some of the structural elements towards the back integrate just a touch more, should show even better. Certainly rewarding now, but should hit peak over the next year.

Very nicely balanced Pinot. Cooler climate fruit that's simultaneously dark and light red, light on the early palate that "fades" darker into the finish and lingers almost as kirschwasser. Under Tian's of garrique and Loam. Acidity is bright and clear. Will benefit with age.

Good cool-climate pinot, moderate-low alcohol, gentle tannins, not a fruit bomb, easy to drink, pairs well. Not overpowering (positive) or short lived palate (negative) depending on your point of view. Peaking, drink now. Direct from producer..

Light red color. Clear. Perfumed Pinot nose. Excellent acidity on the palate. Light-medium weight. Lingers in the mouth. Haunting, delicate and feminine. Sourced from the winery.

Really hits the spot. Down the middle Sonoma Coast style premium Pinot Noir. Lots of fruit, but still manages an attractive leanness. Now is the time to drink it, but I could imagine another couple of years in it.

Perfect summer pairing with grilled beer can chicken, grilled summer squash and corn on the cob... Extraordinary depth and development for an entry level wine.

Light body. Perfumed nose of violets and cranberry. Restrained fruit. Raspberry, cranberry and a bit of tart cherry. Very Burgundian. Could use a bit of aging. Very nice wine.

750ml; PnP; transluscent red color; aromas of red fruits (strawberry, rasberry, cherry); flavors of same red fruits, slight cola, cinnamon, toast; medium fruit intensity with a lightness from acidity. Had with a cold salmon salad with balsamic, grapes, walnuts, feta. Nice match!

On first taste, thought this was very light and simple, but fortunately, it just needed some breathing room to open up into a very good drink. Enjoyed it very much, and it confirmed my interest in ordering more Peay wines. The other bottles need significant time to develop in the bottle though, would not think to open the second bottle for another 3-5 years.

Decanted 2.5 hours. Paired with seared tuna over spinach with balsamic vinaigrette. Light in color. Medium nose of cherry and bramble which is echoed on the palate. Medium bodied and balanced. My better half preferred the denser Paul Hobbs Pinot of the same vintage. For me, this accompanied the meal better. Excellent.

A bit tight at first but opened very quickly. Nice fruit and lingering taste. Pleased that I have the rest of a case to enjoy and follow the development of this one.

Red and black pinot fruit on the nose. Like a mutha. Structured almost perfectly, with an acidic backbone and an expression of red cherry fruit that is fresh and lively, with acidity and balance. Not a tremendous, or even outstanding, depth of material, but worthy of 90 points for its refreshing approach alone.

North end of Sonoma near Mendocino. Very floral, cherry nose. Delicious palette that shows red and bright, dark cherry and molasses. Yeah that's a weird combo. This is fun, subtle complexities.

What a great surprise! Had it at Gramercy Tavern in NYC. A very balanced wine alleredy, thats impressed me. Not to much aroma yet, but the taste was perfect! The taste lasted for 30-40 seconds. The wine was much better than another burgundy-wine at that price-range.

Totally past it’s peak, all that is remaining is a bit of molasses, a hint of tannins. Nothing offensive.

Splash decant, drank in 1 hour.
Clear ruby, nice combination of berry/cherry and touch of earth with body but no intrusive tannin.
Drinking well!
Paired well with slightly spicy jerked country pork ribs with sauteed veggies over salad greens with creamy vinaigrette. Better than expected.
