Immediately accessible this is light and delicious, balancing subtle, youthful purity with secondary features, strawberries and game most prominently in a mineral acid frame, hints of undergrowth and forest floor. Lovely, delicious, beautiful Burgundy. Have some ‘12 but wish this wasn’t my last bottle of ‘11.

Joli nez de cerise confite, avec des notes de sous-bois et d’épices douces. Bouche ronde et gourmande. Bel équilibre. Finale acidulée assez persistante. Un savigny-lès-beaune avec déjà une certaine patine, prêt à boire.

Not the biggest fan of the tomato-leaf notes on the nose, but there's still enough ripe red fruit and mineral to carry this forward. A little bit of Savigny game notes. This may still develop but I doubt that tomato-leaf note will recede.

A perfect cork. Possibly entering a bit of a state of transition. Pale brick red. Somewhat restrained nose with red berry and sauvage notes. A seemingly faded palate with prominent teak, tobacco and cigar box flavours and more subtle notes of tea, citrus, bramble and violet in the background. Complexity and certainly length, but faded and somewhat insipid somehow. Furry tannins. Might wait several years to try bottle number 2?

Bright red. Pungent red fruits- cherries (stewed tomatoes?). Dry and savory on the palate. This has much of what I hope for in Burgundy. There are herbs and red sour fruits and something... that keeps me coming back. Love this winery. Not surprisingly, I have more of its wines than any other in the cellar.

Fresh, expressive, punchy nose of dried flowers, menthol, cherries and earth. It is quite savoury in the mouth with plenty of meat and earth and crunchy red fruits. There is excellent underlying minerality and the finish is brisk with refreshing acidity.

Be fief note. Opened two hours prior. Needed 60 minimum decant. Good weight, prey light-medium fruit. Very nice balance. Will graciously age further.

Étrangement décevant alors que les précédentes dégustations étaient magnifiques: mauvaise fenêtre? Dommage c’était ma dernière bouteille

Captivating nose of long grass or straw. Dried tart cherry, strawberry and a touch of oak. A bit closed though.

Deep and earthy aroma, lightweight, minimal tannins, no pucker, and spicy on the tongue. Very easy to drink.

Beautiful fruit density here, pepper notes. Should drink well in a couple years.
