Very fresh and acidic. On the nose, it had sulphur, tropical fruit and some nut. The wine opened up thoroughly after an hour in the glass. This is surprisingly ready for a 2011 grand cru. The wine had a very nutty palate. Overall the palate was not deep enough. But apart from that, it was a pleasant white burgundy.
Stones, hazelnuts, pears, apricots, and floral tones, super silky with just the slightest hint of honey and vanilla. No lees stirring and 5% new oak, this is definitely restrained but by no means austere, quite the opposite.
