On the nose, RC is one notch higher & more layered than DRC RSV 2009. Kaleidoscopic layers of potpourri, fresh & dry flowers, red berries, raspberries, rose petals, sweet cranberry, PERFUME with sweet soy sauce, sweet preserved sugar plum, sweet dried cranberries. On the palate the wine is extremely reserved. Recorked. Revisited on second day (with over 24 hr of air), the wine opens up gorgeously to even riper fruits, sweeter spices, sweeter prune with earth, flowers, rose petals, and a lingering floral, savory, earthy finish. 2009 RC has so much structure, will needs at least a decade to unravel its true potential & class.

le 6iem vins fut la fameuse Romanée-Conti
Par expérience, notre hôte nous fait par que régulièrement, La Tâche sort plus fort que la Romanée-Conti.
Sur mes notes de dégustation j'ai seulement écrit un mot concernant le 6iem vin et c'était: WOW !
Tout simplement: WOW, rien d'autre a ajouter a mes notes, je vivais le moment présent car le vin que j'avais dans mon verre était la perfection même. Tellement plus profond et long en bouche que les autres cuvées dégustés jusqu'a présent. De la pétale de roses en veux tu en vela ! Un fruit frais d'une pureté exquise, c'est de la finesse a l'état pure, rien n'accroche, ca sent le bonheur, ca goute le bonheur, j'ai une émotion, tout le monde a la table capote, hallelujah ! Un moment unique et magique

Surprizingly not the WOTN. Beat by Roumier Musigny 09.A little too lean and green for me, didn't expect that from such a BIG wine. But after 5 hours of air it showed more elegance and class.

2009, Romanée-Conti Grand Cru Monopole, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Burgund, Frankreich. Mittleres Rubin. Die Nase lässt mich sprachlos, was für ein Tiefgang, was für eine Komplexität, unglaublich nobel, verspielt, vielschichtig, ein Parfüm höchster Güte, ein Gedicht für die Nase, gleich nochmals Gänsehaut. Im Gaumen dicht und konzentriert, wirkt noch jugendlich und ungestüm, viel satte, saftige Frucht, viel Tannin, perfekt integrierte Säure, nichts dominiert, alles ist in grosser Harmonie. Ich verfolgte den Wein über fast zwei Stunden, schnüffelte, tauchte ein, nahm immer mal wieder einen kleinen Schluck und war stets sprachlos. Gross, sehr gross und für eine gefühlte Ewigkeit gebaut. Gehört zweifelsohne zum Besten, was ich je im Glas hatte. Jetzt (mit viel Luft), besser ab 2028-2048+ geniessen. Eigentlich heute schon perfekt, wüsste man nicht, dass hier noch mehr kommt. 19.5++ vvPunkte (98++/100). vvWine.ch

2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Perfectly refined nose displaying subtle pure black fruit, essence of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry candy, a hint of DRC stem, perfume, rose, animal, sweet spices and earthy mineral. Already showing perfect balance and harmony, very finely layered subtle black fruit, very pure, precise and detailed, bright acidity, strong earthy mineral, very fine tannins and a seamless long pure black fruit driven finish with a hint of stem and perfume at the end. It has shed baby fat and not yet reached the youthful peak. However, purity, finesse and balance are unbelievable.

SLDS Reunion Tasting (Bentley, Sydney, Australia): Brighter in colour than the 2010. Surprising intensity as it bursts out of the glass immediately upon pouring, there are amplified notes of roses, cherry, five spice and distinct stalkiness - each time I come back to the nose I find more elements: musk and earth and plums. The palate continues with the sense of power and density with plenty of layers of lifted fruit, but at the same time it has a feeling of focus, verve and purpose. Superb texture and a line of spice interwoven throughout its length. Probably not the most typical Romanée-Conti given its larger proportions, but a sensational experience regardless.

Drank this beauty due to a dear friend, in a 3 star Michelin in Spain, what to say .... what IS too say is that it made the evening perfect due to the most complex harmonie and intense power you only find from a very few terroir's on this plannet , this is a statement wine from DRC ! Had the 2011 a month ago, and this is 5 points bigger and better !

97(+) Cherries, forest fruits, red currants, violets. Spicy, cloves. Earthy, masculine and self-assured. He does have a tremendous potential and is inherently consistent. Cleare and silky. Fine acidity and extreme long and spiced aftertaste.

DRC 2007 vs 2009: Klar rubinrød med blåskjær. Ung, sensuell og nydelig sødmefull pinotparfyme preget av kirsebær, markjordbær og fioler. Stram, men silkebløt, feminin, purpur, klar frukt med mild sødme. Slank men, konsentrert. Frisk og stram syre. Tørr avslutning. Lang, så lang ettersmak.

淡宝石红色，闻香有檀香，参香，奶油草莓，果梗香气和泥土气息，香气复杂飘逸，入口酸度高，单宁细腻，矿物质感突出，梗香强劲，酒的状态还很年轻，香气有点喝酸梅汤的感觉，红果混合着矿物咸感，回甘强烈。余味鲜甜，是新鲜红果和玫瑰花瓣香。如果说2009里奇堡口感上乘，香气略微少了那么一点惊艳点的话，这一支无疑在之前所有酒款的香气上加持了一层异域气息，神秘而变幻，可谓点睛之笔。如果说2009踏雪那一股年轻的冲劲令人印象深刻的话，这一支同样年轻的酒显得更柔和，更有内涵一些。香气完美，口感完整，非常平衡，但收敛而不外放，今天喝了2009每款DRC，它绝对不是今晚表现最好的酒。它在向你展示了武器库里的各种华丽装备以后，然后就在一旁静静地杵着。就像NBA的维金斯一样，看，我的天赋，然后就是要养生。这是一款很强大的酒，处在青涩期的末尾，甚至都还没有进入平和期，它的前程肯定会比维金斯更远大。
