Medium color for a cab with light body. Fig, oak, spice notes. A bit lightweight for a cab but great for the price. Finished well with nice smoothness.

Very tasty for a value priced Cali Cab. This had a classic Cab nose, with an expressive front end showing notes of blackberry, spice and dark cherry. Mid palette a bit less full than you would see with a "big" cab and this didn't have much of a back end to speak about, but all in all, you know you are drinking Cali Cab and the wine has enough going on to keep your interest, more so that the 2010 Columbia Crest Grand Estates, which retails for about $2 less per bottle ($9 vs. $11). This is party priced and enjoyable.

Very nice decanting. Opened up nicely. I let this one age a little too much - probably would have been better a few years ago. But still good.

Dark rich color. Leaves pleasant taste on the palate. Nose has hint of raspberries.

Hints if black cherries cling to the tongue together with German red cabbage

Straightforward, simple Cab with strong black cherry fruit. Not quite as good as earlier vintages.
