We had the unfiltered. Great example of a cool-climate Mendocino Pinot. Well-balanced, fresh bright crisp fruit, but lively and light on its feet. Not transcendental perhaps, but great value. Can't see the benefits of cellaring, ready steady go drink it.

low depth of color, red rim. aromatically has some simple red fruits, some simple flowers, no new oak, no minerality. on the palate moderate acidity, a fleshy midpalate, average amount of moderately ripe tannins, moderate alcohol. great balance, short length, ok intensity, low on complexity. wine has decent finesse, a really nice texture, good expression of place. wine is a bit past its prime, i liked it better when there was more brightness with its simple, charming flavors. good wine.

Solid Pinot from Anderson Valley. Not as complex or robust as higher offerings from Navarro, but great QPR. Notes of red berries, sweet tea and chocolate covered cherries.

light body, nice fruit, good acid, a little tannin. Very pleasant wine, similar in character to Navarro's bigger pinot noirs. Better with a day of air (decanted to a half-bottle), so should age for a couple of years.

A great value as always. The fruit here is a bit on the darker side, with hints of cola and cloves. There is some discernible oak, but deftly done. Tangy, youthful and full of energy. A lively, fruity, fun pinot noir that was polished off quite quickly. A nice crowd-pleaser.

Nice nose, red fruit. Taste: fruity - cherry? berry? supple, not heavy; some oak. Good balance. Very good QPR, as usual with Navarro.

Nice simple pinot noir. A bit astringent at first, the wine mellows within 30 minutes with nice tangy cherry fruit.
