  • Nice nose with dark fruits, violets and a hint of spice. Mostly ripe but juicy fresh black fruit on the palate, bit of green pepper, round, with smoothness and some spice from the oak.

The fruity carménère dominates but cab is clearly present in the background and adds some structure; they haven't blended much but the combo is still nice. Reminded me a bit of the style of Côtes du Roussillon.

Ready to drink but will last a while I think (end 2016?).
Great value already at the normal €8 and fantastic QPR for the €6 I paid!

  • Decent value wine with some bottle age adding complexity. Good fruits and decent balance make this very suppable - ideally with some red meats.
