surprisingly good at the price point Drinks like a blend, over the price point. Nice leathery component from the carmanere, even a little vegetal. coarse but very pleasant tannic finish. Not built to last much longer but a pleasant surprise today. Revisited on day 2 and 3 with just as nice results

inky purple, moderate dark fruit, cassis aroma, medium body, balance of dark fruit, earth, and wood, nice finish; much improved; would buy more @ reasonable price

Revisiting this almost a year later, the greenness has faded. Carmenere is very present with it's distinctive chili pepper and chocolate notes. A very drinkable and enjoyable, if not terribly complex wine. May improve further.

Very solid. Med-full, plum, raspberry. Smooth feel, not as earthy and brambly as many Chileans, nice drinking. Nothing special on the finish but quite pleasant.

Deep red, musty and earthy nose with some ripe plums in the background with a whiff of alcohol. Round and mellow on the palate, forest floor, red fruit, plums mostly. Oak. Suave and juicy but not overly complex. It held up well against the filet with mushrooms, but did not elevate it. The wine was just there, too simple.

Good QPR. Nothing exotic about this... not a hot redhead or a Ferrari here, just a solid gal who may end up with a dumpy ass some day who keeps the house clean. What it does, it does well, good fruit, oak, depth, heavier mouth-feel, some dryness/tannin. It is essentially an upgraded version of a Sterling Cab... not going to complain about it most nights, but no wow factor. Coca-Cola version of CA cabernet from CHILE! Alexis Sanchez has way more style than this wine. If I went to a restaurant and had to overpay for a glass of cab, i wouldn't send this back. JDM 87

Had an unappealing green note to it that faded a bit after some time. Fairly tannic right now. Seems like this could be a very good in a couple of years.

Store Tasting (Roseville, MN): Amazing QPR -- drank this price blind. Dark purple in color, with a somewhat odd and unique aroma exhibiting green pepper and spice. A little too tannic at the moment, I'd give this one a year or two before drinking by itself. Drink 2015-2018. However, this would make an excellent food wine, and my ideal pairing would be BBQ ribs.

Lots of tannins here. Excellent QPR at $15. Agree with kenhud about the finish. Still, very enjoyable and would buy again. Good, but not 90 points in my amateur opinion.

Spicy, tannic. A lot of cab flavor in this blend. Actually, the wine is enjoyable to drink until the finish, when it become too bitter for my taste. OK, but hardly a 90 point bottle.

An abundance of ripe, warm and jammy fruit. The palate comes across bold, round and viscous. There is a slight tingle of integrated tannic structure.
