Pale straw colour. Delicate fresh clean citrus and melon nose. Again fresh fruit, even crisp on the palate with a firm finish. Nice mouth feel and body. A very pleasant wine.

Pungent straw scents with buttery brioche and citrus fruit. A tart dry white with good minerality and balance -- plenty of fruit and a litely tannic, medium finish. Good value and food-friendly.

2012 Chablis at Domaine William Fèvre: Quite a rich, fruity and broad expression for this label. Very clean, it did have some freshness and minerality on the palate, and reasonable structure.

Nice straw colour. Clean fresh fruit nose. Strong and firm that fills the mouth and lingers to a medium dry finish. Definitely a food wine that offers a full flavoured glass.

Light straw colour. Fresh cool fruit prominant on the nose. Crisp delicate fruit that lingers on the palate to a fresh dry finish. No oak or strong tannins evident. A refreshing fruit driven style that works well.

Visit to William Fèvre in Chablis (Chablis): Nose: slightly flowery, green apple, some wine gum? Palate: apple, gooseberry, high acidity, a hint of grapefruit bitterness, a hint of spice, some mineral, aftertaste with a hint of bitterness. Summary: slightly atypical, 84 p? (Négociant wine, i.e., not "Domaine".)

Sour, lactic nose. Sweet peach palate. Mineral. No greenness. Long, tart, mineral finish. Chalk and cheese, but I prefer the 2011.
