Color is almost clear with the lightest hint of straw. A very floral aroma is quite evident in the moderately aromatic nose present shortly after opening the wine. The wine has a very clean green fruit taste (pears) with maybe a hint of minerality and a short finish and light body. The wine is very balanced in acidity, alcohol, and tannins; none shine too brightly. A very well done Pinot Gris! Would not hesitate to buy again.
Limpid straw. Very clean, balanced, and restrained, this has a pretty, floral element that sweetens the pear, honeysuckle, and melon aromas. The texture has a supple feel, with lime blossom, matching acidity, and crystallized fruit on the crisp finish.
Very pale straw color. Prairie grass (I stole that from another vintage's notes!) and Asian pear on a tart citrusy acidic palate. Medium long finish. I quite like this! Paired with herb-stuffed chicken breast, but would try with sushi as well.
Lead off with this wine at a wine tasting. Nice light slightly golden color. The nose is of flowers. The taste is a very nicely balanced fruity lead with a good touch of minerality. Finish is smooth and subtle full mouth
