Muted nose, some apple fruit and interest from stony notes on the palate, retaining some acidity and freshness, but definitely needs drinking. Probably slightly over the hill at this point to be honest.
Addendum 07 Jan 18- second half of the bottle drunk a day and a half later: More open, more apple and citrus fruit apparent on the palate, better balance and generally much more enjoyable drinking. First time aerated only in slightly larger glasses and given some time (label recommends decanting), but would follow the advice and decant to open it up quicker. There’s life in the old dog yet! Still recommend drinking soon.

Second bottle of this wine. Similar to first note, but everything felt dialed down a notch, a bit less character and interest in this bottle. Hence would grade this one 88. On the evidence of these two bottles would think it is time to drink up.

Clea and pure. Exotic nose, mangoes and pineapple. Lively acidity, sweet grapefruit zest and orange peel on the palate. Very fresh. Lasting citrus confit acidity with the accompanying bitterness. Long after taste. Not heavy nor deep but one of the best Southern French white wines I have tasted. Best chilled.

Very nice wine. Subtle, well balanced in every way. Discrete nose, mostly minerals. Ever so slight pearling effect on the tongue. Palate a nice mix of minerals and fruit, mostly apple. Easy drinker, while still with complexity to keep things interesting. Enjoyed it a lot.

Nice start but ultimately disappointing. Nose of slightly saline minerals, crisp green apples. Brash in the mouth with a good acid attack, some minerals and a touch of saline, with some fruit surfacing. Finish is bland with a light mouth feel. Work well at first with food, but grew boring as it failed to reveal much complexity and felt flat on its own. Might work well as just one glass with some sea food cooked with herbs or spices.

Golden yellow colored. Awesome aromatic display: golden apples, honey, dried wax, some oily notes, cherry blossoms, so complex. Plump and fleshy on the palate, but crisp acid. Complex fruit flavors (apricot, yellow apple, lychee) mix with a slew of non-fruit flavors (wet stone, minerals, chalk, flowers, honey). Full but composed, long finish. Very pretty stuff that I'd actually like to cellar for two or three years. Just got back from a Roussillon trip and figured I'd keep the streak going. What a great bottle for $20.

Nice with a grilled halibut. I do think it might be just past its prime at this point. Drink up!

A bit short, nice but somewhat bland.

Good stuff, as usual, from Domaine Gauby. A pungent, floral and mineral-driven white with flavors of pineapple, green apple, wax and nettle aspects.

Not bad but a leaves taste too much present. The 2010 was way better so it might be a vintage issu.

Quite pungent aromatics on the nose. Palate is quite perfumed too. A little phenolic in texture but nice acidity and freshness.
