10 years old and still excellent. Whoever says rose doesn't age should look to Larry for a correction! Watermelon, earthy, funky, nice acidity, and all the things that should be in place. Sad this is my last bottle, but glad to have followed this for a decade.
Very light peach color. Fresh strawberries and flowers on the nose. Medium bodied, raspberries, melons, good acid, and a medium to long finish. Tasty and refreshing.

Oh so good. Wish I had even more of these. Watermelon, strawberry, herbs, earth, and a nice texture that really hits its stride after the bottle has been open for a while.

Not decanted, consumed over ~2 hours. Dry, with floral notes and hints of watermelon on the nose. The medium-bodied palate matches up, and brings a nice pithy blood orange tartness to the mix. For my palate, this might have lost a step since our last bottle a few months ago, but it's still quite a nice rosé for a warm summer evening.

Really evolving nicely but who ages rosé? Well, everybody probably should. The stone fruit is now embraced with more earthy and herbs. Very dry, no sugary sweet stuff here. World class rosé for the Francophile in all of us.

Wines At Our Table; Week of March 15, 2015; 3/9/2015-3/16/2015: Consistent with prior reviews - Pale salmon color with appealing red fruit, wet stone, and citrus peel aromas with a hint of earthiness. On the palate it's dry, and fresh and medium-bodied with mouth filling strawberry, watermelon, hints of red currant, subtle spice, and citrus flavors and a nice touch of minerality. Lingering finish.

Very faint salmon color in glass, gives up very little aroma. Much more flavorful and body than color and aroma would suggest. Tart strawberries and with a hint of mourvedre’s earthiness and acidic minerality throughout.

Yup, still pink crack. Could drink this almost any day it's so good. Good warm at room temp, good cold, good right on pnp and good with air. Actually it's best still with a bit of air, I think. The meaty qualities of the Mourvedre come out a bit more.

This has been a favorite since we had our first bottle last summer. A delightfully balanced wine, with delicate watermelon, citrus peel, and floral notes, but also with a pleasant mouth-filling heft and a tasty finish. Dry, with enough acid and a sense of minerality. Kudos, Larry!

Enjoyed with a summer pasta primavera. Light peach color, light and dry on the palate, delicious flavors, watermelon, red current, with light citrus. Well balanced, good acidity with the minerality you would expect. Refreshing right out of the refrigerator, I preferred it after 5-10 minutes at room temperature. Pleasing, long finish.
So delicious on pnp, with nice lemon and bright red berries. Great acidity, suggestion of sweetness but i don't think it's residual sugar. It's probably tropical fruit. There's a hint of earth coming through as well.

Picked up my 6 pack of these a little late this year but I'm back on track. Color is very light peach pushing towards some pink. Nose is sweet fresh cut peaches. Palate is very delicate fruit-wise, soft peach and apricot, a note of earth on top of leather. Creamy mouthfeel on the attack but the acid immediately starts working on the saliva glands requiring a few extra gulps after the sip is long down the hatch. Very good complexity. Paired with steamed mussels and a fat lobster tail. Happy birthday 'Mercia.

Yeah -- that's the stuff. The 2013 version of this wine doesn't disappoint. Light, dry, but flavorful, with a little citrus fruit and a lot of mineral. This could easily be mistaken for a very good Provencal Rose. I don't think the 6 bottles I got will last very long.

Very delicate pinkie here….super balance with zero heat and good dryness reminding me of a liquid sunshine Provençal rose'. Tasty flavors of subtle strawberry, white peach, melon, red delicious apple….fresh squeeze citrus acidity…mineral crunch…dried cherry and orange…..would have liked something that screams "Mourvedre" like some pine forest or underbrush….but all in all this is a tasty little Summer sipper, that went very well with a number of dishes.
