Wonderfull nose and a joy to drink. My first DRC Corton and gladly a 2017 to drink in future. You see why DRC wanted that new area , and shows how skilful they are. Respect.

Dinner with Some Young Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Corton (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Opened two+ hours before serving with a quick double decant, then enjoyed over three hours. My first time trying this wine in the 2010 vintage, this showed so much concentration and depth, even good+ balance, but never really provided great pleasure. In contrast, the 2013 in the next glass couldn't stop being fun, bright and tasty, even without the density of this 2010. Tough to assess. Sadly, my only bottle.

Bloody nose, dark fruit, cherry, strawberry, vanilla, cheesecake, stem, primrose, violet, truffle, licorice, cinnamon, earthy grass, nice sweetness and an almost Vosne-like array of spices. Elegantly compelling nose, energetic light palate but intense and revolving aromas. Less pungent display than Vosne. 94

Classic, bright strawberry fruit and spice notes. Intensely aromatic and very DRC. There's a good weight to the wine, and the flavors and purity are just wonderful, but there's a vivacity to it that I didn't expect. This is young, but it's very drinkable at this stage, and to my surprise is neither particularly hard nor obtrusively structural. A very nice wine.

Very bright and glossy ruby. Very intense nose of cranberry, pomegranate and red currants. Almost painfully pure. A lot of minerality and stones coursing through the nose. Focused like a laser beam on the palate, very long and intense, waves of red fruit, touch of incense, more minerality and wonderful cleansing and balanced acidity just cleaning it all up. Very long. You want to drink more of it! Still very young. Much better than the 2009.

Drank this in Spain November 2015, had it 2 times over the past 3 years, and this was starting to close a bit, very serius tannin, but a lovely nose of white flowers and rather pure texture unlike the 2009 with seems like a "fatboy" - lovely !! drink 2020-2030

Horizontale Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 2010 (Toqué! Montréal): Un bouquet très distinct des autres vins, au profil quasi-rhodanien, sur les fruits noirs, les fruits rouges et l’orange brûlée. Micro-sucrosité en bouche, qui demeure malgré tout très charmante et pleine, particulièrement après deux heures d’ouverture, où ce profil sudiste fait place à la finesse et la rondeur espérées. Un vin plus masculin et terrien. Comparé aux autres vins en dégustation, il paraissait moins abouti et agréable à boire, mais il n’en demeurait pas moins un vin aux qualités évidentes. 92

Simply stunning young Corton. The nose is punchy, perfumed and spicy. It smells of freshly grated ginger, pommegranite, blueberries, smoke and sasprilla root. It is luscious and full in the mouth yet has a cool cherry stone heart and superb detail. It is obviously young but so balanced and expressive now and just a joy to drink.

2010 DRC Tasting: Initially this was rather closed on the nose, but over 2 hours with lots of swirling it opened up. Nice ripe red fruit, some spice. Vibrant on the palate with great energy and tension. Bright red fruit with some floral notes. Medium depth. Fine tannin on the medium finish.

Anfangs ein bisschen helles Caramel,leicht aetherisch. Johannisbeeren,pflaumig,würzig,saftig,erdig. Röstnoten,Hauch Vanille und floral. Mit mehr Zeitachse gewinnt er unheimlich. Vollmundig,samtig,maskulin,hier bin ich. Säure absolut passend,langer warmer Abgang.

2010 DRC tasting (Stockholm): Nose with ripe strawberries, cherries, spice, a hint metal filings, some violets, some balsamico. Elegant and fruity impression, a big nose. Palate with cherries, quite pronounced minerality with mint, high and balancing acidity, well embedded medium tannins, long aftertaste with mineral. Very elegant, no trace of sweetness. Can be enjoyed now, will develop well, 94 p.
This second vintage of the wine is rather different than the first, and is a much more classical Burgundy. The 2009 was much more Syrah-like, while the 2010 fits into the DRC lineup in a completely different way. A very positive surprise. The best Corton I have ever tasted.

Första vinet (av sex) i en provning av DRC 2010. En helt underbar doft av jordgubbar. Tror aldrig någonsin att jag upplevt en så tydlig och mogen underbar doft av jordgubbar i ett vin, samtidigt så har den en väldigt fin syra som väger upp det. Helt otrolig balans och ända så ungt och fräscht. Helt underbart!!!

This is the first of the six DRC 2010 bottles we had tonight. A rare bird, indeed. Second vintage for this wine, and only 5.219 bottles were made. Compared to the 2009 version, this is indeed a whole other wine. Young, of course, but so lovely. On the nose it’s meaty, animalistic with a light smokiness. But it’s the Pinot meatiness this year, and not as I experienced last year, with Syrah tones. Light hint of vanilla and a touch of licorice present too. Starts out a little bit closed first with cherries and great minerals. Then…BANG! Strawberries! An explosion of mature and lovely sweet strawberries emerges from the glass. This wine is full of lovely fruit but has a great balance with a super nice acidity, the balance is simply stunning. I believe that this will turn into a killer wine. What a great bottle of Corton this is!

2010 DRC Tasting: Bright cherry nose showing some orange rind and spice notes. The palate shows sweet and sour fruit notes at one moment tart and acidic and then the next moment sweet and full. Overall there is a very interesting interplay of flavors, with medium weight concentration and a seamless texture. This is very DRC, as compared to last year when it showed as an adopted member of the family.

A spoiling day, comparing the whole lineup of 2010 DRC. This is more transparent in appearance vs the the VRs. Sweet, delicate nose. Firm acidity on the attack and then moderate complexity kicks in yet in a delicate manner. Red berry fruit which is not particularly dense. Comments that this is less earthy than the 2009 or the 2011, and to me this is the best of the three vintages.

淡宝石红色，闻香有野肉，动物皮毛和人参的味道，肉味十足，又不过分。入口酸度高，单宁紧致，颗粒细腻如粉，酒液咸，收口微甜，杨梅，红果，木质香气，带着一些奶油味，口感鲜活，香气复杂，后段还有些许芝麻香，余味如香水般绽放，红果，花香和木质香气。这是今晚综合表现最好的一支酒，有着充分陈年的复杂度，又保有着活泼的花果香气，充满了愉悦感，一支正值适饮期的酒，展现出它最华丽的一面。
